As weekend homeowners, we simply could not enjoy our home without the services of the Oyster Bay Property Management team. We have the benefit of knowing our home is safe and secure while we are away. We know that any problem will be taken care of in addition to regular home maintenance of HV/AC, service appointment, beach front, masonry, landscaping, plumbing, electrical, appliances etc. We greatly appreciate that OBPM has been able to identify issues before they become major problems. All of the contractors that OBPM has hired on our behalf (after multiple bids are reviewed) have been first rate in delivering quality work at fair prices.
OBPM recently completed a third floor addition, on time and on budget. A new experience for us. We are delighted with the outcome. We have been homeowners for decades and have never experienced the level of service, reliability and satisfaction we now receive. There is really nothing they cannot do. Even our Koi ponds are taken care of! OBPM strives to exceed expectations and always does. We would recommend their services without any hesitation.

Perhaps my wife and I have always cherished houses that can boost both elegance and history. So when our property- a product of the “Gatsby” period, when Long Island became “estate country” (and the house, incidentally, where Svetlana Stalin wrote her first book after escaping, with the help of her publisher, from Russia, in the depths of the cold war)- became available thirty-some years ago, we quickly took on the task of maintaining its status in times of continuing change.
My wife is an artist, I a political analyst and writer, so the property flourished and served us both professionally and socially- until the extraordinary storm, “Sandy,” last October, with the help of a couple of gigantic trees, took down the western end of the house, as well as doors, windows, some ceilings, and the corners of rooms, together with great sections of its valued slate roofs and walkways Fortunately, among the contractors we interviewed, Frank Leone showed himself more confident and compelling-and certainly understanding-than other bidders. So, with the careful advice and counsel of Chubb’s thoughtful representatives (who have insured the property since we acquired title to it, more than thirty years ago), a small army of subcontractors, under his guidance, began to repair and replace doors, windows, slate and tile, wall and floor, lighting and plumbing-even one stove!- plaster and paint, wherever Mr. Leone, with Chubb, had noted the need. Except for the outside paint (which must wait until spring), the work was completed in early February.
Frank Leone is an extraordinary professional, indeed perhaps an exemplar of his trade. He begins, of course, with a remarkable appreciation of the work, the “task” that he is being invited to review. He observes in detail; he describes the task as he understands it, in terms that his client can understand too; and his own assurance does not seem dictatorial in any abrasive way. He communicates, too, an understanding of his potential client’s own concerns, and an appreciation of what is “valued” in the intended task, from the client’s own point of view. And-no doubt of ultimate significance-without any elaboration on the client’s part, he seemed to share and generate a comparable confidence between his client and the other skilled subcontractors whom he will, on the owners behalf, need to engage.
Mr. Leone us known to care about the history and the look of his part of the North Shore of Long Island; it is apparent that he may care equally for its life and its work and tis residents. We appreciate his efforts and the effort of those who worked with him.

We met Frank Leone shortly after we moved to our home in Locust Valley in March of 2021. Frank came over to help with a couple minor jobs and immediately impressed us with his knowledge of the area and home construction. He showed us a few things about our new house that we didn’t know and offered to come over whenever we needed him for upkeep and improvements.
When we called Frank, he would be over in a matter of hours or give us a time that worked for us. He is prompt and professional and is always available when we need him. We had a couple flood issues from summer storms, and Frank came over on a Sunday afternoon and helped us in the pouring rain.
In August, we finished our attic and created a bedroom and home office suite. Frank was thorough in his proposal and timeline for the job and told us he would have it complete in two weeks. The job was perfectly coordinated and scheduled. We knew who was coming in on what days, the work they were doing and next steps. We were never in the dark once about the progress of the job, and it was complete in two weeks to perfection!
We will continue to use Oyster Bay Property Management for all work that needs to be done to our home and consider Frank a friend to our family. We highly recommend this company for your home improvement needs.
